Acceptance of Terms

By using DavianVault, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

Description of Service

DavianVault is an encrypted password and data vault that allows users to store and manage sensitive information locally, with optional encrypted synchronization.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining their master password
• Securing their devices
• Maintaining backups of encrypted data if desired

Loss of the master password results in permanent loss of access to stored data.

Zero-Knowledge Limitation

Due to the zero-knowledge design:

• DavianVault cannot recover user data
• DavianVault cannot reset master passwords
• DavianVault cannot access encrypted content

These limitations are intentional security features.

Data Ownership

• All stored data belongs exclusively to the user
• DavianVault claims no ownership over user content
• No rights are granted to the developer over stored data

Availability

The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features and availability may change without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• DavianVault is not liable for data loss due to forgotten passwords
• DavianVault is not responsible for device compromise
• Use of the application is at the user's own risk

Termination

Users may stop using DavianVault at any time by uninstalling the application.

---

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
