DavianVault
A Secure, Offline-First Android Password Manager
What is DavianVault?
DavianVault is an Android application that allows users to securely store and manage their passwords, secure notes, and other sensitive credentials. All vault data is encrypted locally on the user's device using the user's Master Password. DavianVault does not have access to, collect, or transmit any user passwords or vault data to our servers.
Why DavianVault uses Google Drive
DavianVault offers an optional cloud backup feature. When enabled by the user, DavianVault uses the Google Drive API to store an encrypted backup of the vault in the user's own Google Drive App Data folder. This allows users to restore their vault if they switch or lose their device.
- DavianVault only accesses the private, hidden App Data folder — it cannot read any other Google Drive files.
- The vault is fully encrypted on the device before being uploaded to Google Drive.
- DavianVault never stores user data on its own servers.
- Google Drive access is entirely optional and can be disabled at any time.
