DavianVault is a privacy-first, zero-knowledge encrypted password and data vault. User privacy, security, and trust are core principles of the application.
DavianVault is designed to protect users and their data. Applications that are deceptive, malicious, or intended to abuse or misuse networks, devices, or personal data are strictly prohibited. DavianVault does not engage in such behavior.
This Privacy Policy explains how DavianVault handles user data, permissions, and platform requirements.
User Data
DavianVault does not collect personal information, behavioral data, or usage analytics.
All data handled by DavianVault is:
- Explicitly provided by the user
- Encrypted locally on the user's device
- Fully controlled by the user
- Inaccessible to the application developer
Examples of user-provided data include:
- Passwords
- Secure notes
- Documents and attachments
- Personal and confidential information explicitly added by the user
DavianVault does not infer, generate, or collect additional user data.
Permissions and APIs That Access Sensitive Information
DavianVault requests only the minimum permissions required to provide core application functionality.
Permissions and APIs, if used, are:
- Clearly disclosed to the user
- Used strictly for user-initiated features
- Not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising
- Not misused to access data outside the scope of the application
DavianVault does not access sensitive device data unless explicitly required for a feature initiated by the user.
Device and Network Use
DavianVault does not engage in device or network abuse.
Specifically, the application does not:
- Perform hidden background activity
- Execute unauthorized network requests
- Interfere with device operation or security
- Abuse system resources or APIs
All network communication, including optional cloud synchronization, is:
- User-initiated
- Encrypted end-to-end
- Limited to application functionality
Deceptive Behavior
DavianVault does not engage in deceptive behavior.
The application does not:
- Mislead users about its functionality
- Hide data usage or access
- Perform actions without user knowledge or consent
- Circumvent platform safeguards or policies
All data handling behavior is transparently described in this policy and matches in-app behavior.
Misrepresentation
DavianVault does not misrepresent:
- Its purpose or functionality
- The nature of data handling
- Security or encryption capabilities
- Platform compatibility or requirements
All descriptions in app listings, documentation, and disclosures accurately reflect the actual behavior of the application.
Compliance With Google Play Policies
DavianVault complies with applicable Google Play policies, including:
- Google Play User Data policies
- Permissions and sensitive API usage requirements
- Device and Network Abuse policies
- Deceptive Behavior and Misrepresentation policies
- Google Play's Target API Level Policy
The application is updated as required to meet current platform and security standards.
Data Sharing
DavianVault does not:
- Sell user data
- Share user data with third parties
- Use advertising or tracking SDKs
- Perform behavioral profiling
No user data is shared under any circumstances.
Data Security
- All sensitive data is encrypted locally on the device
- Encryption keys are derived from the user's master password
- The master password is never stored, transmitted, logged, or recoverable
- DavianVault follows a strict zero-knowledge architecture
User Control
Users have full control over their data and may:
- Add, edit, or delete stored information at any time
- Export encrypted data
- Enable or disable cloud synchronization
- Permanently remove all local data by uninstalling the application
Platform Scope
This Privacy Policy applies equally across all supported platforms, including:

- Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS)
- Linux
Platform-specific integrations do not alter privacy or data handling guarantees.
Changes to This Policy
