Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DavianVault collects, uses, and protects your information.
1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture
DavianVault is a zero-knowledge password manager. All vault data — passwords, secure notes, folders — is encrypted locally on your Android device using your Master Password. We do not have access to your Master Password, and we cannot decrypt or read your vault data under any circumstances.
2. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure
DavianVault's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you choose to enable Google Drive backup, DavianVault requests access to your Google account with the following scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata
- What we access: Only the hidden, application-specific App Data folder in your Google Drive. We cannot see, access, or modify any of your personal Google Drive files.
- What we store: An encrypted binary blob of your local vault database. This file is unreadable without your Master Password.
- What we share: Nothing. Your Google user data is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.
- Why we use it: Strictly to allow you to backup and restore your encrypted vault across your personal devices.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect analytics or usage data.
- We do not use advertising networks or trackers.
- We do not store any user data on DavianVault servers.
